Planning the Focus Group Study
Planning is a task of making sure everyone on the team agrees about the
purpose and expected outcomes of a study and then balancing what might
be nice to do with what can be done with the resources available. We commit
our thoughts to paper and invite others to provide feedback. It forces
us to go beyond our own thinking and seek the insights of colleagues.
Successful planning keeps promises reasonable, timelines efficient but
doable, and budgets balanced. Think of the plan as an investment that
prevents costly mistakes.
