Acknowledgments
For the record, we want to applaud the work of public employees. There
is a perception that government workers don't work hard. It certainly
isn't true for the ones we've met. They have been committed, passionate,
hardworking people trying to make the world a better place. They are good
people who care. They want to listen. They work hard to do the right thing.
Here are some of the people we have been lucky to work with. They gave
us opportunities to learn about, practice, and teach the art and science
of listening through focus groups. Our thanks to them.
